Love Poem
To love someone feels impossible at times. How can I tell if this love is real, instead of just a figment of my imagination. In this world it seems that everyone is “in love,” at least from their statuses and tweets. But to me it all seems fake, just fools spreading foolishness in an already foolish world. Where is the real love that I’ve read in books, seen in movies, and heard in music? Everything appears better in the fantasies portrayed there, but it can’t be found in life. Is there any hope for me, to meet my prince charming and live happily ever after? Or will my love life just be a repeat of the constant failures that I’ve seen? I wish I knew the answer, and hope that one day it will be revealed. I’m praying it’s the one I wish to hear.
